- *shrug* If you only use a few colours in your icons, NewIcons wont
- geiv you any benefirt other than the one that when something decides
- to alter your Workbench palette under you, your icons stay the same
- colours. Personally, I like having thumbnails for my graphic files
- that are minatures of the real thing, complete with colours that get
- dithered and mapped to whatever is available on my Workbench.

- It's reached the point, I feel, where enough people are using NewIcons
- for people releasing stuff to endear themselves to people by including
- a NewIcon image. After all, it doesn't alter the original image for
- those not runing NewIcons, and there's nothing more annoying than
- seeing YAPMWBI (yet another purple magic WB icon). I like being able
- to set my Workbench palette the way I like it, and still have icons
- display properly.

- PS, anyone still using NewIcons V1, you could do a lot worse than
- upgrade to V2, which does dithering amongst other things.
